Description

The Academy Center of the Arts proudly presents the Academy Clay Festival on Saturday, October 12, 2024. Potters, sculptors, wheel throwers, and hand builders from all across the Piedmont Region and Eastern Shore will gather in Central Virginia along the James River to sell and showcase their work for this one-day show. Participating vendors will also be given the opportunity to showcase their talent through demonstration and/or lecture.

This is a juried event for clay artists. Cash prizes for 1st, 2nd, 3rd place, and best in show.

Key Dates:

August 5 – Deadline for artist/vendor application

August 17 – Artist notification

October 12 – Academy Clay Festival
