Description

Relief Printing Bookmark Workshop (All Ages) is a creative and hands-on class perfect for artists of all experience levels! This workshop offers an introduction to the art of relief printing, where students will design and create their own custom bookmarks using rubber blocks.

Young children are welcome to participate but will need parental permission and supervision. For those not ready to carve, pre-carved blocks will be available so everyone can enjoy the experience of printing beautiful bookmarks.

Here’s what you’ll learn:
How relief printing works, including designing, carving, and printing a block
The tools and techniques used for rubber block carving
How to ink and print your block to achieve crisp, professional designs
Tips for creating patterns and experimenting with layouts
The basics of printing editions and reusing blocks for future projects
By the end of the workshop, participants will have created 1–3 unique bookmarks and gained the skills to explore relief printing further.
