Event Information:

Register to Run/Walk Become a Sponsor Timberlake Christian School will host its 7th Annual TCS 5K, Fun Run and Carnival on Saturday, April 12, 2025.

The event will kick off at 9:00 am with a 5K in the neighborhood surrounding TCS, plus a shorter Fun Run on school grounds for our little runners.

Following the run, there will be bounce houses and carnival games for the entire family.

This event is for TCS students (PreK-12th grade), families, faculty/staff, and our community. Those interested in the timed walk/run around the neighborhood should select the 5K option when registering. The shorter route will not be timed. The 5K will be professionally timed again this year by Blue Ridge Timing via chipped bibs with medals for the top 3 male and female finishers in each age group (Under 13, 13-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50+) plus the top male and female finisher overall. We will utilize a wave start for the 5K to eliminate large clusters of walkers/runners on the 5K route. A runner’s “clock” does not start until the runner crosses the starting line and ends once the runner crosses the finish line. Run times will be announced at the carnival once all runners have completed the course and times have been verified.

Each walker/runner registered by March 28, 2025, will receive an official 2025 TCS 5K, Fun Run, and Carnival T-shirt! Our fundraising goal for this year’s event is $70,000.

Students will be encouraged to work towards a goal of $100 per student in sponsorships for their run/walk. The funds raised will go towards the purchase of a 15-passenger school bus. Runners/Walkers will register for the event via our Event Page starting March 5, 2025.

With $100 in sponsorships, the $15 registration fee is waived. Teachers will create teams to encourage friendly competition. Pre-K, Elementary, and Secondary students will all compete for individual and team/class prizes. Class and individual prizes will be communicated the week of March 17th.
