Kids are easy to please and will be happy with some simple snacks. Make a crock pot filled with chili and you'll please the big kids too.
Invite a few friends over and enjoy the game! These simple recipes will make it easy to host a party your guests will love.
Easy Crockpot Chili
Ingredients:
1 Tablespoon of vegetable or olive oil
1 medium onion, diced
1 clove of minced garlic or 1/4 teaspoon of garlic powder
1 pound of ground beef or turkey
1 can of diced tomatoes
1 can of chili beans (or beans of your choice)
1 bottle of chili sauce
1-2 Tablespoons of chili powder (to taste)
Directions:
1. Heat oil in pan.
2. Saute onion for several minutes, until translucent.
NOTE - If using minced garlic, saute with onion. If using garlic powder, add later with other spices.
3. Add ground meat and brown.
4. Mix tomatoes, chili beans, chili sauce, and spices together in crockpot.
5. Add cooked ground meat.
6. Cook on high for 2-3 hours or on low for 4-5 hours until heated through. Serve with grated cheese, sour cream, crackers, or your favorite sandwiches.

Get the party started and let the kids help arrange the table.
Mix and match your serving pieces for an informal look. Fill baskets or bowls with a variety of chips, pretzels, and crackers. Add platters of sliced turkey, ham, and cheese and bread or buns.
Add salsa and a few dips for the chips. Prepare a few hot snacks using crock pots.

BBQ Cocktail Franks
Ingredients:
2 packages of cocktail franks
1 bottle of your favorite barbecue sauce
Directions:
Place cocktail franks in small crockpot. Add the bottle of barbecue sauce to the cocktail franks and cook on low for a few hours.
You can also make in a sauce pan on the stove top. Simmer on low until cocktail franks are warmed and serve hot.
Game Day Meatballs
Ingredients:
1 bag of frozen meatballs
1 jar of chili sauce
16 ounces of grape jelly
Directions:
1. Place the meatballs in the crockpot.
2. Mix a jar of chili sauce and a 16 ounces of grape jelly together in a saucepan and simmer until smooth.
3. Pour the mixture over the frozen meatballs in the crockpot and cook on high for 3-4 hours or on low for 6-7 hours. Serve warm.
Slow Cooker Buffalo Chicken Dip
Ingredients:
2 packages (8 ounces each) cream cheese, cut into chunks
4 cups shredded cooked chicken
1 cup hot sauce (We use Frank's RedHot® Sauce)
1 cup ranch dressing
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese, divided
2 tablespoons chopped green onions, if desired
Directions:
1. Place cream cheese in slow cooker. Top with chicken, hot sauce, ranch dressing and 1/2 cup of the Cheddar cheese. Cover.
2. Cook on high for 1-1/2 to 2 hours or until heated through. Stir until well-mixed; top with remaining 1/2 cup cheese. Sprinkle with green onions if desired. Cover.
3. Cook 15 minutes longer or until cheese is melted. Serve and enjoy! You can add extra hot sauce, cheese, or blue cheese crumbles for more flavor.
Football Brownies
Ingredients:
1 13x9 pan of brownies
1 container of chocolate frosting, heated in the microwave to make glaze
1 tube of white icing
1. Bake a 13x9 pan of brownies according the the directions on the box or buy a pan of brownies.
2. Using a cookie cutter or knife, cut the brownies into football shapes.
3. Heat the chocolate frosting in the microwave on high. Heat for 30 seconds at a time, then stir. Repeat as needed until the frosting is liquidy.
4. Glaze with chocolate frosting. Let dry.
5. Use the tube of white frosting to make the football laces and you're done!
