These 25 ideas will rock your indoor fun day

Whether it's a rainy day, school's out day, snow day, or a less than perfect day for outdoor play, it's good to have a Plan B for indoor fun. These 25 ideas will rock your indoor fun day.

  1. Plan a board game day. Let each child (and adult) choose their favorite card or board game and enjoy. Here's an idea to Make Your Own! Board Game!
  2. Bake cookies or cupcakes. Take some to the neighbors too.

  4. Build-a-thon with LEGOs or blocks. Use patterns or create your own.

  6. Make snow cream (in the winter) or popsicles (anytime). No popsicle molds? No problem, just use paper cups.
  7. Take a virtual trip to somewhere you've always wanted to visit.

  10. Invite neighborhood friends over to play.

  22. Create an indoor beach day experience. Grab towels, change into swim suits, and let the kids hit the tub!
  23. Learn more about dinosaurs, superheroes, real life princesses, or your child's current obsession.
