Whether your children are toddlers or teens, you're sure to brighten a snow day by serving Snow Cream for dessert or as a treat. We reached out to longtime friend and snow lover Barbara Horton, who shared her top secret snow cream recipe.
Snow Cream
4 cups of snow
1 cup milk
1/4 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla
Garnish optional ( I like to add chocolate syrup and candy kisses )
1. Use a large, clean bowl to gather 4 cups of snow (It's best to put the bowl out while it's snowing to catch fresh snow).
2. Stir in the sugar and vanilla. Add 1 cup of milk (or enough for the desired consistency).
3. If desired, garnish with chocolate syrup and candy kisses, caramel syrup, or sprinkles!
4. Serve immediately and enjoy!
