1. Enjoy a Carnival Adventure at Brookville Timberlake Volunteer Fire Department Carnival at Brookville Middle School in Lynchburg. This fun event takes place from June 12-16. Hours are 5:30-10 PM Tuesday through Friday and 1-10 PM on Saturday.

2. Plan a Camping Adventure with Father's Day Weekend at Jellystone Park Campground in Natural Bridge Station. A weekend of fun includes planned activities and family time.

3. Enjoy an Outdoor Movie Adventure with Movies in the Park at Riverside Park: "Moana" on Friday night in Lynchburg. Bring lawn chairs and blankets for this free movie and enjoy food truck food offerings before the movie, which begins at dusk.

4. Let's go on a Fishing Adventure with Father's Day Fishing at Smith Mountain Lake on Saturday morning. Space is limited - Pre-registration required at the Visitor Center at Smith Mountain Lake State Park by Friday evening for this adventure.

5. Enjoy a Drive-In Adventure with Show Dogs and Life of the Party at Hull's Drive-In. Show Dogs (PG) & Life of the Party (PG-13) are showing June 15-17 at 7 PM on the big screen in Lexington. Shown in reverse order on Sunday.

6. Take a Running Adventure at HumanKind 5K and Youth Run in Lynchburg on Saturday morning. The family that runs together, stays together. Register in advance for this fun adventure.

7. Watch a BOTteau Adventure and stay for a Batteau Adventure at Percival's Island in Lynchburg on Saturday morning. An autonomous boat built by high school students will launch with the batteaux. Festival begins at 9 AM; launch at 11 AM.

8. Take the littles on a Toddler Treasure Hunt Adventure at Ivy Creek Park in Lynchburg on Saturday morning. Register by 6/14 at Lynchburg Parks & Recreation website or at the Miller Center.

9. Celebrate freedom at the Juneteenth Adventure at Thomas Jefferson's Poplar Forest in Forest on Saturday morning. Admission to the Juneteeth event is free!

10. Enjoy a Glow-in-the-Dark Adventure at Tiny Town Golf in Lynchburg on Friday or Saturday night. The fun starts after dark at Tiny Town. 

11. Have a Family Fun Day Adventure at Heritage Green Assisted Living in Lynchburg on Saturday. Enjoy fun and games for the entire family and it's all free. Donations for the Alzheimer's Association are not required, but appreciated.

12. Experience a Princess Adventure with "A Little Princess" at Jefferson Forest High School in Forest. The entire family will enjoy this performance, held on Saturday night and Sunday afternoon.

13. Skate together at a FunQuest Adventure at Happy Father's Day at FunQuest in Lynchburg. Buy one unlimited fun pass and Dad gets an unlimited fun pass for free all day on Sunday.

14. Enjoy a Musical Adventure at the Virginia International Organ Festival at Court Street United Methodist Church on Sunday afternoon. Music soothes the soul for all ages.
