Jan. 17-19, 2025 Lynchburg Family-Friendly Weekend Events

A note from your publisher to help you Find Your Family Fun® for the weekend!

By Sandy Wallace January 13, 2025

Welcome to the weekend update from Lynchburg Macaroni Kid! Before every weekend, we share the top family-friendly events in the Lynchburg area and beyond. There's no time like now to make family memories!

It's a short week for Lynchburg City Schools students this week with early dismissal on Thursday, no school on Friday for a Professional Learning Day, and no school on Monday for the Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday.

There are fewer events in the Lynchburg area during winter, so you may want to incorporate fun activities like walking or hiking, park or playground days, riding bikes or scooters, or just playing outside or indoors into your weekend plans over the winter.

Let Lynchburg Macaroni Kid help you Find Your Family Fun® this weekend and throughout the year!

We'll help you plan ahead to Find Your Family Fun® with our FREE Lynchburg Macaroni Kid newsletter and event calendar which publishes weekly on Thursdays at 7 AM.

Here's some of the top family events around Lynchburg for the weekend of Jan. 17-19, 2025. Visit our website to see details about all of these events!

Some of these events require advance tickets or registration. Click on each link for more details about the event. Some events may be postponed or cancelled due to weather or other concerns, so please check before you go.
